Final Push: Help Me Put On A Frasier Art Show + Raise Money For Suicide Prevention
I'll keep this quick but I am definitely asking you for money.
Hello subscribers! I’ll keep this quick. Our Kickstarter for a Frasier Art Show to raise money for mental health is about to fail. If you can, please consider supporting.
Last year, I rallied a group of 130+ visual artists worldwide to recreate an episode of Frasier. The result, Our Frasier Remake, has been viewed 63k times and written about by the LA and Seattle Times, CartoonBrew, BoingBoing, Paste Magazine, and more.
Now I am raising money to rent a gallery space in Los Angeles for Tossed Palettes & Scrambled JPEGs: An Art Show Inspired by “Frasier” and “Our Frasier Remake.”
Right now, I am on the hook for $5k in gallery costs that I hoped there would be enthusiasm to cover. Using a Kickstarter to cover the cost of the gallery will allow the show to split 100% of the proceeds between artists and a wonderful mental health org called the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
We’ve got some amazing artists participating including showrunners from some very cool animated shows, folks who have done artwork for Mondo and other famous galleries, and so much more. I’m hopeful we can close the gap.
If you’re able to, please consider supporting the project financially. There are some cool rewards! It’s also very helpful to spread the word through your social networks. Here is an Instagram post you can share:
Thanks so much for your support!
