2022 Input / Output

What I've consumed and created this year. This one might mostly be for me.

I’ve been thinking about doing a post like this since last year, and so I’ve been keeping track (slightly) better than normal of my artistic input and output. I think it’s interesting to draw connections. Though, realistically there’s more swimming around in my brain than I’m keeping track of and the input doesn’t always impact the output within one Gregorian calendar year.

As a quick side note, did you know that Art Garfunkel has kept track of every book he’s read since 1968? And, that information is publicly available on his website?

If you didn’t know about this (and, why would you), it brings me great joy to be the person who gets to tell you.

Anyway, here’s my list. The input is from recollection as well as apps like Letterboxd and GoodReads. I’ve probably left a lot out of both the Input and Output but oh well.
